Pinehurst No. 1

    Description

    Description

Originally begun in 1898, No. 1 is the oldest course at Pinehurst. Because Ross used mules to create 18 holes, he incorporated the raw contours and undulations of the natural terrain, creating a very playable course and a favorite for a great starting round. It’s why Pinehurst is considered the St Andrews of golf in America.
