Sound of Freedom at Cherry Point

    Description

    Description

A truly distinctive golf experience awaits you when you tee it up aboard the Marine Corps’ elite jet base, MCAS Cherry Point, and it’s “Sound of Freedom Golf Course”. Recently open to the public, this course boasts undulation & character that is unique to this area and, since it’s located aboard a military installation, the course is completely natural without houses or condos located on the course. If you’re lucky, you’ll also enjoy the namesake “sound of freedom” with our Marine Corps finest aviators flying over the course.

Recently renovated and located directly on the picturesque Neuse River, the course has great water views plus a 24 hour driving range, chipping area, practice putting green, club rentals, snack bar and a certified PGA teaching pro on staff.
