This year’s 27th Annual Mid Pines Junior Invitational Championship will kick off on June 25th and last through the 27th.

This enduring Mid Pines Golf NC tournament always takes place on the last weekend in June and is a great way to kick off the summer. The two-day tournament, which consists of 36 holes of stroke play, has helped a number of young golfers make names for themselves. Each of the 120 boys and girls who will play in this year’s tournament will fall into one of the following flights: 10 and under, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, and 17-18. The entry fee, which is just $185, includes a practice round, two tournament rounds at Pine Needles Golf Course, an awards luncheon on Sunday, welcome gifts, and prizes.

Perhaps the biggest perk of being a part of this prestigious tournament is the fact that all who participate have the opportunity to play on one of the greatest Golf Courses in North Carolina. Mid Pines Golf course was designed by none other than the legendary Donald Ross and is a true testament to his genius. The course, which has been opened since 1921, is characterized by towering pine trees and vivid azaleas.  It consistently ranks among the top North Carolina Golf Courses and has been praised by players of all levels for both its aesthetic appeal and its fun and challenging holes.
