The Sandhills Region of North Carolina

The Sandhills region of North Carolina is located in the central part of the state on the border with South Carolina. Comprised of ancient beach dunes which divide the Piedmont from the Coastal Plains, Sandhills NC enjoys abundant sunshine and clear skies within a warm and relatively dry climate.
