Quaker Meadows Golf Club

    Description

    Description

Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains is one of western North Carolina’s most played golf courses. Designed by Russell Breeden this 18 hole golf course is a treasure. With Bermuda fairways and bent grass greens the well placed bunkers on this course offer golfers a challenge to reach the large well defined sloping greens. The course was opened in 1968, and has been a mainstay in the Burke County area ever since. The course itself is considered by many to be hallowed ground, due to the fact that the ” Over The Mountain Boys ” met here under the Council Oak before marching to Kings Mountain, resulting in making our nation a reality. ( Thus Hallowed Ground ) The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and will help in any way they can. Call today and get your tee time to play one of the best public courses in the Carolinas.
