The Currituck Club

    Description

    Description

This Scottish links-style course is located off the scenic Currituck Sound. Oak trees, sand dunes, and wind add to the difficulty level. The greens are average-sized and undulating, and the contoured fairways are average width. Water hazards come into play on fourteen holes. The signature holes are #7 and #15. Hole #7, a 532-yard, par 5, requires a tee shot up a narrow fairway designed alongside the Currituck Sound, then an approach shot to a small green protected by sand bunkers. Hole #15, a 174-yard, par 3, also features a scenic view of the Currituck Sound, and requires a tee shot over a pond to the green. The green fees indicated are the morning rates. The fees are slightly cheaper for mid-day play and are reduced again after 4 PM.
