The Grove Park Inn Resort

    Description

    Description

This is North Carolina’s oldest resort. The course was built on rolling hills, so uneven lies are common. The fairways are narrow and sloped. Water hazards (winding streams) come into play on a number of holes, and there are many strategically-placed bunkers on the course. The fairways were built to run just below the hotel, offering scenic views for every room. From the higher elevations you can see the mountains in the distance. Water hazards come into play on six holes. The green fee is good for all-day play. There are golf clinics, swing analysis classes, and playing lessons with the golf professional available through the pro shop. Appointments should be scheduled seven days in advance.
