Tobacco Road awaits to challenge you

Looking for an adventure on North Carolina’s Tobacco Road? Look no further then the Tobacco Road Golf Course in Sanford NC.
The course is routinely honored in Golf Magazine’s Top 100 Greatest Public Courses, and is built on an abandoned sand quarry. Tobacco Road was designed by Mike Strantz, who will leave you and your friends begging for more in a breathtaking environment.
At 6,500 yards, the slope is ranked second in the Carolinas with the famed Kiawah Island being the only course ranked higher. While identifying a signature hole at Tobacco Road is a challenge, the course may be best known for the Par 5 No. 1 hole. With two mounds narrowing the fairway to a small pass. The challenge, however, doesn’t end with the mounds as the fairway narrows again before reaching the green.
Other holes that Tobacco Road is known for include the No. 6 Par 3 and the Par 4 No. 18.
