Planned Golf Community Near Asheville Sold to Seven Falls Owner

The Queens Gap community, a premier North Carolina Golf Community was recently bought by a company that is currently constructing another prestigious golf community just outside of Asheville. Devinshire Land Development, LLC, the 3,350 acre Queens Gap community’s management company, was sold to Tradition LLC, another management company. Tradition LLC is owned by Keith Vinson, and is also constructing the Seven Falls Golf & River Club. Both the Queens Gap community and the Seven Falls Golf & River Club rest just about half an hour away from the city of Asheville NC.

The Queens Gap community is just off I-40 in the adorable mountain town of Rutherfordton NC, and features a planned Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course and tons of other fabulous amenities such as a Wellness Pavilion, an equestrian center, a tennis complex, miles of walking and hiking trails, and an enormous outfitter’s lodge. Construction on the world class NC Golf Course is set to begin this fall, while Seven Fall’s golf club’s course construction, an Arnold Palmer Premier Club is almost finished. Both represent signs of a changing tide in the real estate market in this area, and provide well paying jobs both during and after construction to locals in these areas. Vinson was interviewed about his thoughts regarding the new acquisition of the planned master community, Queens Gap, and according to an article from PRWeb, he noted, “Both Seven Falls and Queens Gap represent real progress in the current market conditions….which presents a great real estate opportunity for savvy buyers….this represents one of the best buying opportunities in a generation.” It is no secret that many of the area’s newest planned communities have been put on hold, awaiting the turn of the economic tides. However, the Queens Gap community and the Seven Falls community are moving forward, laying water lines and building roads, anticipating that investors, retirees, and others looking to move to or purchase homes in the mountains will jump on the great interest rates and other incentives for new home buyers. He went on to discuss plans for both communities which will feature home sites ranging from the $150s to the $500s, making living in a gorgeous mountain golf course community rather affordable. Homeowners in both communities will enjoy reciprocal club privileges, as well, which means that buyers will essentially get club memberships to two fantastic, new North Carolina Golf Courses.

The Seven Falls community is located just 20 minutes from Asheville on more than 1,600 pristine acres. It will become the first community to have an Arnold Palmer Premier Club, which will feature not only 19 holes of championship golf, but also a 60-acre practice academy that will be the home of The Arnold Palmer Teaching Academy, which will include 9 practice holes. Featuring home sites with panoramic views and a variety of planned home styles, both Seven Falls and Queens Gap are going to be family focused communities where residents can take full advantage of the outdoors.
