Undoubtedly the most popular of all Golf Resorts in North Carolina, The Pinehurst Resort is home to various tournaments each month of the year. Coming up in late August, the 53rd North & South Senior Women’s Championship and the 59th North & South Senior Men’s Championship will take place simultaneously at this world-renowned golf destination.

For 59 years, some of golf’s most experienced male players have been competing against one another on the hallowed grounds of Pinehurst’s prestigious courses. This year, the action will begin on August 23rd with practice rounds on Pinehurst Nos. 2, 5, and 8, followed by a player’s dinner. The first, second, and third rounds will take place on August 24th, 25th, and 26th, respectively. Each round will consist of two divisions: Open and Super Seniors, and these groups will rotate between courses such that each has the opportunity to play on all three.

This year will mark the 53rd North & South Senior Women’s Championship. Like the men, the senior women will kick off the competition with practice rounds on Pinehurst Nos. 2, 5, and 8 and a player’s dinner on August 23rd. The first round will be played on Pinehurst No. 8, the second on Pinehurst No. 2, and the third on Pinehurst No. 5. The Open and Superior Senior Women’s Divisions will be contested.
